One more god rejected.
The infamous Demi-fiend is a man (or demon?) with one hell of a résumé. From a high school boy with an interest in the occult, to feared and respected (sometimes) conquerer of the Vortex World, nowadays he enjoys a bit more of a relaxing lifestyle with his fiancée. However, when he needs to, he'll come out of his "semi-retirement" to punch a few demons in the face.
Before all else, this is a Freedom-ending portrayal, with some True Demon influences (namely, he beat up Lucifer).Naoki's skill list is as follows: Gaea Rage, Javelin Rain, Magma Axis, Maziodyne, Tornado, Freikugel, Wild Dance, Samarecarm, War Cry, among other various passives.Naoki used to have a crush on Chiaki Tachibana before her transformation into a fiend. Even after he turned the world back to normal, he could never see her the same way again.He used to be an alcoholic. Not anymore, though. Turns out demonic tolerance makes it easy to get carried away.He doesn't carry weapons, but he can conjure a sword of pure energy, and use it at his leisure. Usually reserved for weapon-based skills, but he has been known to use it on its own sometimes.In a rare fit of pure demonic rage, he killed his own father. It isn't a decision he particularly regrets.

Jane is Naoki's beloved fiancée. He thinks the absolute world of her and would protect her with his life. They have a long past with each other, dating or not, and they see each other as equals on the top of the food chain.
Dante (@EdgeOfRebellion):
Naoki's former boss, at Devil May Cry, Inc. They first met in the Vortex World, where Dante was contracted to kill the new Demi-fiend by Lucifer. Dante soon discovered that Lucifer was a bit more dubious than he initially thought, and joined forces with Naoki. Joking between them aside, Naoki respects Dante a great deal, calling him the "father he never had", and he wouldn't be where he is without the demon hunter taking him under his wing.

If Dante is Naoki's "father he never had", Nero would be the brother. Once work at DMC, Inc. introduced the two to each other, they hit it off, often being partners in crime for quite some time. Recently, they've both settled down a bit because of their respective significant others, but they're still as solid friends as you can get.
Raidou Kuzunoha XIV:
Naoki's relationship with Raidou XIV is a strange one. They're very much polar opposites, with Naoki being more lax, and Raidou being very by-the-book. They both met in the Vortex World, same as Dante, but it's obvious which one Naoki hit it off with more. Naoki often makes fun of him, calling him "a stiff", among other things. With that said, however, Naoki still trusts him as a companion and doesn't particularly dislike him, thinking of the teasing as just playful jabs.
Raidou Kuzunoha XXV (@KuzunohaTheXXV):
Speaking of strange relationships... There's a bit of a theme here with the Kuzunoha "family", clearly. She greatly annoys Naoki most of the time, but most people he specifically dislikes being around, he's told to kick rocks. Not her, though. She's not that terrible. While he doesn't want to be around her often, he still respects her to some degree, and doesn't hold any ill will.
Lucifer/Louis Cypher:
One of the few entities Naoki truly despises. In his eyes, Lucifer doesn't deserve to live in this life or any afterlife. But, try as he might, Lucifer keeps coming back. He constantly tries to keep his skills up, in case he ever gets the chance to fight the fallen angel again; maybe this time, he can finish the job.
